Inflection AI, a consumer-focused business, has improved the artificial intelligence that powers its chatbot Pi, which now has over one million daily active users.
Consumer-focused startup Inflection AI’s chatbot Pi now has more than 1 million daily active users, and the Microsoft-backed company has updated the artificial intelligence that powers the tool, it announced on Thursday.
The high-profile startup has released Inflection-2.5 to compete with competing models like OpenAI’s GPT-4 and Google’s Gemini.
The improved model will be available to Pi customers starting Thursday via pi.ai, iOS, Android, and the company’s new desktop software.
Pi, which debuted in May, employs generative AI technology to connect with users via chats in which they may ask questions and share interests.
