Atsuya Technologies, IOT start-up (Internet of Things-based sustainability start-up) has received a grant from the Government of Tamil Nadu under its Guidance-ATEA Digital Accelerator Program.
At the Investment Conclave 2021 in Chennai on Tuesday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin handed over the Rs 60.40 lakh grant amount to the IOT start-up.
Five startups from an applicant pool of 75 were selected for the total grant of Rs 3.5 crore.
To encourage innovation and automation through hand-picked technology start-ups, the Digital Accelerator Program has been facilitated by Guidance Tamil Nadu, the state’s nodal agency for investment promotion and single-window facilitation, along with American Tamil Entrepreneurs Association (ATEA).
Set up in 2017, Chennai-based IOT start-up, works with some Indian and global brands, it said in a statement.
The IOT start-up has won the Atal New India Challenge and the Google Hackathon for its IOT solutions in the field of agriculture.
Atsuya will work towards bringing Tamil Nadu to the forefront in achieving sustainable development goals, said Rahul Ganapathy, the chief executive.
