Japan’s Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, is scheduled to speak with Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Tuesday to go over artificial intelligence.
Fumio Kishida, Japan’s Prime Minister, will meet with Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Tuesday to discuss artificial intelligence, it was reported.
The meeting comes after reports that Meta’s Zuckerberg will visit South Korea at the end of the month to discuss AI with Samsung Electronics chairman Jay Y. Lee and perhaps meet South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.
Facebook’s operator, Meta, revealed last week that Zuckerberg planned to visit South Korea.
Japan’s government and corporate sector are racing to catch up on AI development. Over the last year, Kishida has met with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to discuss AI policy and infrastructure.
