MUMBAI , India , January 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/: JLR and Tata Communications are set to enhance JLR’s connected vehicle ecosystem, transforming the driving experience for customers globally through the Tata Communications MOVE™ platform. The collaboration will enable JLR’s next-generation, software-defined vehicles to enjoy seamless connectivity and access to intelligent services even in the most remote locations across 120 countries. The new collaboration is an extension of their existing partnership and aims to future-proof the automotive manufacturer’s digital transformation .
Powered by Tata Communications’ MOVE™ platform, JLR’s upcoming mid-size SUVs built on the new Electric Modular Architecture (EMA) will provide seamless transition between mobile networks and operators, enabling non-stop access to personalised connected services, such as streaming media. The platform will also enable greater and safer data exchange between JLR and its customers’ vehicles, providing more efficient over-the-air (SOTA) software updates and supporting the deployment of evolving Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
