Over his 20 years with BP, Dube has held key positions in finance, business transformation, and sales in India, Singapore, and the UK.
Leading global energy business bp announced on Tuesday that Kartikeya Dube has been appointed, with effect from July 1, as Senior Vice President, Gas and Low Carbon for India and Head of Country (HoC) – India region.
According to a statement, Sashi Mukundan, who has worked with bp for more than 42 years—of which 15 were spent leading bp in India—will be retiring on September 30 and ensuring a smooth handoff to Dube.
Over his 20 years with BP, Dube has held key positions in finance, business transformation, and sales in India, Singapore, and the UK.
Dube held the position of Vice President, Group Investor Relations at bp’s London main office before this promotion. In the past, Dube played a key role in establishing the bp joint ventures with Reliance in India.
He served as CFO for Jio-bp, bp’s mobility joint venture with Reliance in India, from 2020 to 2023, according to the statement.
