Kumaresh Pattabiraman is appointed as the Country Manager and Product Head by LinkedIn India

On Friday, Kumaresh Pattabiraman announced his appointment to the position of Country Manager and Product Head at LinkedIn India.

“With over 135 million members, India stands as LinkedIn’s second-largest and fastest-growing market—a testament to the engagement and potential here. LinkedIn has evolved from being just a jobs platform to becoming a dynamic global community where professionals connect for jobs, learning, networking, and knowledge sharing,” he said in a post on LinkedIn.

Before joining LinkedIn, Pattabiraman held a position with Microsoft and possesses more than fifteen years of expertise in the industry.

He began working on the product side of things at LinkedIn and, in August 2022, was promoted to Senior Director of Product, Feed, Search, and Generative AIproducts.

According to Pattabiraman, members utilize AI skills three times more frequently than the global average, with India being among the top five nations with the fastest-growing AI talent and having the highest penetration of AI abilities worldwide.

“This puts India at the forefront of the future of work, and sets us up brilliantly to build in India for the world,” he added.

According to a LinkedIn senior executive, he is excited to collaborate with the India team to foster innovation, forge solid alliances, and open up business prospects for all Indian professionals.
