Ericsson said in a statement that Sandstrom will start working for the company on April 1 and be stationed in Sweden.
Ericsson, a Swedish manufacturer of telecom equipment, announced on Tuesday that Carl Mellander, a seasoned veteran of the firm, has been replaced as chief financial officer by Lars Sandstrom.

Since 2017, Sandstrom has been employed at Getinge, where he is currently the CFO and a member of the executive team.
Mellander’s resignation was announced by Ericsson last year, with effect from the end of the first quarter of 2024.
