Serving as vice president of global operations at first, the CIO has been with Leidos for 11 years.
Former program vice president for Leidos’ civil operation of the Antarctic support contract, Alexandra Guenther, has been named chief information officer of the organization.
On Sunday, Guenther’s appointment was announced on LinkedIn by Carly Kimball, Executive VP and Chief Performance Officer at Leidos, who added that Guenther’s program management skills and technical knowledge make her the perfect fit for the position.
Serving as vice president of global operations at first, the CIO has been with Leidos for 11 years. She subsequently advanced to the position of chief technology officer and was appointed director/senior manager of cyber programs and portfolio.
She worked at Lockheed Martin for 13 years prior to joining Leidos, rising from individual contributor roles to management and vice president positions.
Earlier in her career, she was employed by PPL Corp. as a department cooperative for information services.
