Lenovo Security Services appoints Shaik J Ahmed as Head of Security Solutions for India

Ahmed’s primary responsibility at Lenovo will be to broaden the company’s security offerings throughout India.

Shaik J. Ahmed has been named Head of Security Solutions for India by Lenovo Security Solutions. At Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India Private Ltd. (RNTBCI), Ahmed served as Head of Information Security and Data Protection Officer; at Mashreq Bank, he was Vice President and Head of Information Security-Risk & Governance; and at Virtusa, he was Global Head of Cyber Security Consulting and Advisory Services.

Ahmed’s primary responsibility at Lenovo will be to broaden the company’s security offerings throughout India. “In today’s digital world, robust security solutions are no longer a luxury but a necessity,” Ahmed stated. “I’m excited to leverage my experience to help Indian businesses navigate the evolving security landscape and empower them with best-in-class solutions from Lenovo,” he added.

Ahmed has over 25 years of expertise in cybersecurity and consulting, and he graduated with an MBA from Amity University. His areas of expertise include cyber resilience, application security, vulnerability management, Security Operations Center (SOC), Internet of Things (IoT) security, cyber threat management, and counter-threat intelligence.
