LinkedIn, owned by Microsoft, reported that it was back up and running after a brief outage that affected thousands of users.

Microsoft’s (MSFT.O) LinkedIn announced on Wednesday that it was back up following a brief outage that affected thousands of users.

According to outage tracking website Downdetector.com, more than 48,000 reports of disruptions related to the business-focused social network were received in the United States at one time throughout the day.

LinkedIn earlier stated on Wednesday that certain users may be experiencing problems and that it is investigating.

Meta-owned Facebook and Instagram experienced a more than two-hour downtime on Tuesday due to a technical fault, affecting hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.
