In an effort to build a secure and resilient digital environment, L&T Technology Services Limited and the Maharashtra State Cyber Department established the nation’s first integrated state-level Cyber Command and Control Center. This center equips vital infrastructure, businesses, and citizens with cutting-edge technology and knowledge to fend off cyberattacks.
Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, officially opened the cutting-edge facility in Mahape. Through this initiative, Maharashtra will be at the vanguard of cybersecurity, facilitating and expediting cybercrime investigations, increasing conviction rates, strengthening police force capabilities, and increasing public awareness of cybercrimes.
This major project for the Maharashtra Cyber department was carried out by L&T Technology Services in collaboration with M/s KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP as a partner in forensics and technology investigation.
The creation of the Cyber Crime Command & Control Centre, CERT-MMaharashtra with AI-based Threat Intelligence tools, a Cyber Centre of Excellence for capacity building and public awareness, and a Technology Assisted Investigation Centre with cutting-edge digital forensic tools are all included in this project.

With TAI’s assistance, the Nodal Cyber Police station and the 50 district cyber police stations would look into complaints from citizens and businesses. In the interim, CERT-MH will respond, in concert with other agencies, to cyber incidents pertaining to national security and vital infrastructure. Additionally, CERT-MH will use AI technology to pro-actively supply industry with threat intelligence.
The center’s unique features include:
