Manmeet Dhody has been named the new Vice President of Engineering and Digital Experience at Adobe. According to an official letter distributed to staff members, Dhody would be stationed in the company’s Noida office. Dhody brings with him almost thirty years of technical and leadership experience from major international digital companies, including Amazon and Microsoft.

In his previous position as CTO of Paytm Payments, Dhody was instrumental in spearheading the fintech company’s technological revolutions, especially in expanding its payments infrastructure. He was in charge of overseeing important projects at Amazon, such as the Competitive Monitoring Tool. He has led various international teams and worked on high-impact international initiatives in both the US and India.

Dhody is anticipated to use his extensive knowledge of customer-centric procedures and technological advancements, especially in the financial services industry, in his new position at Adobe.

Dhody has a history of fostering innovation and is well known for emphasizing the need for comprehending user pain points and incorporating feedback. He led Paytm’s deployment of generative AI across product lines, increased developer productivity, and fortified the organization’s technological infrastructure, particularly in data security and payment sectors.

In the email to its employees, Adobe said, “Dear Team, Please join me in welcoming Manmeet Dhody to Adobe as our new Vice President of Engineering, Digital Experience. Based out of our Noida, India, office, Manmeet joins us from Paytm, a fintech innovator, where he was Group CTO.”

Manmeet Dhody’s role at Paytm

In an effort to increase its emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI), the fintech behemoth Paytm named Dhody as an “AI Fellow” in September of this year to oversee the company’s AI-driven innovation initiatives.

In 2020, Dhody became CTO-Payments at Paytm. He worked at Amazon for more than seven years before that, where he was instrumental in spearheading software development projects. He has also held positions as Director at Quark, a US software company, and Principal Development Lead at Microsoft.
