Rubrik a cyber resilience solution has been released to address security threats in Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, which is frequently used to store unstructured data. For businesses using Azure’s cloud platform, the solution focuses on improving visibility, data security, and recovery.
Azure Blob Storage is essential for handling workloads like data lakes, compliance records, and AI training. However, there are now serious data security flaws, especially for sensitive data, as a result of the increased reliance on cloud-based infrastructure. By incorporating autonomous data discovery, classification, and contextualization directly into Azure systems, Rubrik’s approach seeks to overcome these risks.

Additionally, Rubrik’s technology finds and removes redundant data stored in Azure Blob Storage to reduce expenses. It also facilitates quick data recovery, providing object-level and container-level restoration choices, and offers backup storage in less expensive Azure tiers.
Aung Oo, general manager of Microsoft Azure Storage, underlined the necessity of enhanced cloud data security as the amount of data produced by generative AI and huge language models rises. He said that the goal of this collaborative effort is to address the increasing difficulties in protecting cloud repositories.
