Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence business xAI’s latest Grok-1.5 chatbot will be available on his social networking platform X next week, the billionaire announced in a Friday tweet.
“Grok 2 should outperform existing AI across all metrics. Musk said, “I’m in training right now.”
Grok-1.5, an updated version of its chatbot Grok, will be made accessible to early testers and existing Grok users on X in the coming days, according to a statement issued by xAI on Thursday.
Earlier this month, Musk stated that xAI would be open-source. Grok, days after the billionaire sued Microsoft (MSFT.O), launches a new tab for OpenAI, which purportedly abandoned its initial objective in favor of a for-profit model.
Looking to compete with OpenAI and Alphabet’s (GOOGL.O), opens a new tab Google and Musk launched xAI last year.
