On Tuesday, Daimler Truck AG’s wholly-owned subsidiary Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) announced that Muthumaruthachalam C has been appointed as President and Chief of Operations & Logistics, with effect from August 15, 2024.
Anshum Jain, who left the company in April 2024, was succeeded by Muthumaruthachalam as the previous COO.
In his new position, Muthumaruthachalam will be in charge of the DICV divisions of Manufacturing Engineering, Operations & Logistics, and Truck Operating System. According to a statement, he will be in charge of making sure that operational workflows run smoothly, improving production procedures, and boosting the efficacy and efficiency of truck operating systems.
As a member of DICV’s core leadership team, Muthumaruthachalam will answer to Satyakam Arya, the organization’s MD and CEO.
Muthumaruthachalam has worked for the organization twice. According to the statement, he was employed at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation in the past.

The statement stated that Daimler Truck Holding AG is one of the biggest producers of commercial vehicles worldwide, employing more than 100,000 people worldwide and operating out of more than 40 major sites.
