Nitesh Rana, a former special public prosecutor for the Enforcement Directorate, has been named chairperson of the ‘Right to Play’ Commission by the Society for Transformation, Inclusion, and Recognition through Sports (STAIRS) Foundation, a national sports promotion organization devoted to the grassroots development of sports in India.
The panel, headed by Rana, will promote fair play opportunities for kids in all areas. It will acknowledge play as an important part of youth development and a communal asset, the statement said.
