The Investors Service Center managed by NSE was inaugurated by Smt. Aparna Thyagarajan, Chief General Manager, SEBI, on January 5, 2024, along with senior officials from SEBI, BSE, and NSE.
Investor services, awareness, and protection are the key functions of stock exchanges.
In order to cater to the needs of investors in securities markets in the state of Tamil Nadu, SEBI, along with stock exchanges NSE and BSE, has established an “Investor Service Centre” at Madurai.
The Investors Service Center managed by NSE was inaugurated by Smt. Aparna Thyagarajan, Chief General Manager, SEBI, on January 5, 2024, along with senior officials from SEBI, BSE, and NSE.
Shri Ashishkumar Chauhan, NSE MD & CEO, said: “The Investor Service Centre will facilitate the resolution of complaints of investors against listed corporate entities and other registered intermediaries in the securities market and will also facilitate the conduct of investor awareness programs in the state.”
The ISC center in Madurai will be the center of learning, interaction, and knowledge sessions around all the investment-related products and queries like mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, sovereign gold bonds, real estate investment trusts (REITs), infrastructure investment trusts (InvITs), etc. The center will be open to all students who are keen to learn, understand, and invest in the securities market.
