Two AI-powered solutions have been introduced by Onix to address the data-related issues that big tech businesses are now dealing with. These include privacy issues, data scarcity, and the challenges of using AI.
Phoenix, an AI-powered business intelligence framework, and Kingfisher, a synthetic data generator, have been revealed by the cloud-native IT company that offers services in data, cloud, and AI solutions modernization. The newest products are part of its Birds product line, which aims to simplify business intelligence driven by AI.
How Onix’s news solutions will help AI adoption
Onix CEO Sanjay Singh and CTO Niraj Kumar discussed on the sidelines of the company’s first annual day how the need for high-quality, compliant data has increased due to tech businesses’ reliance on AI for growth.
As organizations find it difficult to properly install and manage AI systems, they pointed out that Onix’s Kingfisher and Phoenix address these issues and give companies strong capabilities to fully utilize AI.
“Kingfisher and Phoenix aren’t just products—they’re transformative solutions that enable enterprises to innovate at scale with absolute confidence in data privacy and efficiency,” said Singh, adding that the solutions provide privacy.
How Kingfisher and Phoenix work
According to Kumar, Kingfisher creates synthetic data that mimics the features of real data while protecting sensitive information, meeting the need for safe and privacy-compliant data. He clarified that risk-free development, testing, and AI/ML model training are made possible by this AI-powered system, which analyzes production code and finds edge situations to generate extensive datasets that are statistically identical to real data.
Following the creation of the synthetic data, Phoenix streamlines the process of deriving significant insights from the data. By utilizing automation driven by artificial intelligence, Phoenix facilitates conversational, real-time data querying and provides clear, understandable insights.
When asked how Onix’s strategy differs from that of other digital behemoths, Singh responded that the company uses AI and data modernization to set itself apart in the market. He emphasized their distinct strategy for data integration and migration, emphasizing the development of contextual knowledge of the data environment to provide AI-driven solutions.
According to Kumar, Phoenix streamlines AI adoption, allowing businesses to access potent models without the typical complications, while Kingfisher addresses shortage difficulties while ethically protecting sensitive data.
When asked about bias and privacy about the generated synthetic data, Kumar said that “the notion of synthetic data generation is to take care of the ethical area.”
“Otherwise, what will happen? It will expose all real data to the users even though you have used it for training purposes. Hence, all the access privileges are defined, so we protect the data and implement all policies, privileges, and roles, and the user groups accordingly,” he explained.
For instance, even if an AI chatbot is educated on credit card number data, it will only respond to questions in plain language or LLM if you have privileged access to the information. Otherwise, it will say, “I’m not able to give because you don’t have access to it.”
