PedalStart Organizes Builders’ Mixer: An Offline Networking Event Graced by VCs, Angels and HNIs
  • The event was attended by angels and investors from leading VC firms like Speciale Invest, Blume Ventures, Inflexor Ventures, etc.

  • The Builders’ Mixer event also served as a platform for the launch of PedalStart’s upcoming PedalCircle innovation hub in Bangalore.

National, June 14, 2024: Startup founders’ community cum accelerator PedalStart recently hosted its flagship initiative, ‘Builders’ Mixer’, which successfully brought together builders and enablers of the nation’s startup ecosystem under one roof. Builders’ Mixer, an in-person offline investors’ networking event held in Bengaluru, was attended by 20+ leading angels, venture capitalists (VCs), and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), including prominent investors from renowned VC firms such as Prath Ventures, Capital-A, Speciale Invest, Blume Ventures, and Inflexor Ventures, among others.

During the event, PedalStart unveiled its first offline cohort, named ‘PedalCircle’—an innovation hub in Bengaluru, offering acceleration and investment opportunities of up to $100k to selected startups. The PedalCircle cohort, which begins later this month (June), aims to be a game-changer for founders across India who are currently between the POC and MVP stages by offering them a space to innovate, a network of successful founders and operators for personalised brainstorming, resources to execute the strategies quickly, a $100000–250000 investment for a 9–12 month runway, and access to the VC ecosystem for future rounds. The mentor IC already onboarded Mayank Jain, ex-CPO & CMP of Snapdeal; Sorabh Agarwal, co-founder & partner of AngelBay; Ankit Jain, founder of Dineout [acquired by Swiggy]; Mohit Sethi, ex-product of OLX Group; and a couple of others.

Speaking about the event, Murali Krishna Gunturu, Principal at Inflexor Ventures, commented, “The Builders’ Mixer event was an energetic show put together by the PedalStart team, featuring an exciting combo of entrepreneurs and curious investors and enablers. Being a part of this event, we had fantastic, insightful conversations with the entrepreneurs and participants. I am excited to see what the future holds and what’s next from the PedalStart team!”

Besides attracting some of the leading VCs and angels, Builders’ Mixer also succeeded in providing an unforeseen networking opportunity to a group of 40 visionary startup founders who PedalStart selected to be a part of this exclusive, invite-only event.

Aditya Darolia, Co-Founder of PedalStart, said, “We are thrilled to witness PedalStart’s Builders’ Mixer emerge as an august gathering of industry-leading enablers and pave the way for immersive networking between these resourceful angels, HNIs, and VCs. Marking our three-year journey in the Indian startup ecosystem, the event also served as a Kickstarter for PedalStart’s next big strides in the offline space, including the launch of our forthcoming offline innovation hub in Bengaluru, PedalCircle.” With this cohort, we aim to pick 12 selected startups and invest overall around USD 1.5 million as a pre-seed round and build them for the seed round.
