PhonePe has announced the introduction of insurance coverage for visitors to Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, which will host the Maha Kumbh Mela from January 13 to February 26, 2025. Two versions of an all-inclusive yet reasonably priced insurance plan are offered to meet the needs of a wide range of passengers: Rs 59 per traveler for those using the train or bus, and Rs 99 per traveler for those taking domestic flights.
With millions of followers from all walks of life, the Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the biggest religious events in the world. In collaboration with ICICI Lombard General Insurance, PhonePe has introduced this ground-breaking insurance coverage package in recognition of the particular difficulties that come with a large-scale event. This will give travelers financial stability and peace of mind while also addressing their unique demands.
Hospitalization, medical consultation, outpatient treatment, personal accident coverage, loss of checked luggage, trip cancellation, delayed connecting flight, and repatriation of remains are just a few of the dangers that this launch seeks to address in detail for devotees. Millions of devotees may travel safely and securely with this package, which is available on the PhonePe platform until February 25, 2025. Users will have full coverage for the duration of their trip and stay at the Maha Kumbh Mela.

- Go to the PhonePe app’s Insurance section and choose “Maha Kumbh” Insurance.
- After reviewing the product specifications, select “Buy now.”
- Add member details and choose a plan according to your mode of transportation.
- Check the information and finish the payment.
