Mistry, in this new role as the Group Head-IT, will manage technology systems and applications for the company
Piyush Mistry has joined Capital India Finance Limited as Group Head-IT and moved on from Dvara Smart Gold. He will report to the company’s CEO & MD– Vineet Saxena and will be based out of Mumbai.
As a CTO, he was associated with Dvara Smart Gold for four months. Also, for more than 11 years, Mistry has served JM Financial, and in his last role there, he worked as Associate Director- IT.
Focusing on affordable home loan offerings to home buyers in lower and middle-income groups, Capital India Home Loans Ltd. is a Housing Finance Company (HFC). The company is present across various states in the country.
Mistry, in this new role as the Group Head-IT, will manage technology systems and applications for the company. His duties include:
- Leveraging IT for streamlining business processes.
- Setting objectives for the IT team.
- Setting up security practices.
Mistry has close to 25 years of professional experience and has worked with companies GlobeOp Financial Service, Embee Software Pvt. Ltd, and Netmagic in the past. He holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Application. He has also completed a Post Graduate course in Financial Technologies from IIM-Nagpur.
