Having solidified his foundation in the banking and financial domain, he has over 30 years of thorough knowledge in technology and has worked for over 25 years in the BFSI, specializing in information and cyber security trades and trends.

Prashant Maldikar has joined Indian Financial Technology & Allied Services (IFTAS), a division of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), as Head Cyber Security, replacing him as Head IT-Security at RBL Bank.

Prashant Maldikar will take the lead in creating the cyber security function, strategies, and roadmaps necessary to move cyber security projects from the planning stage to the actualization stage.

Having solidified his foundation in the banking and financial domain, he has over 30 years of thorough knowledge in technology and has worked for over 25 years in the BFSI, specializing in information and cyber security trades and trends.

Maldikar’s career path includes noteworthy roles at IndusInd Bank, India Infoline Finance Limited, Tata Capital Limited, and Centurion Bank of Punjab prior to joining RBL Bank.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Maldikar stated, “I’m excited and privileged to join IFTAS to play a pivotal role in my journey to make a modest yet meaningful contribution in the field of cyber security.” This sentiment underlines his commitment to advancing cyber security measures and contributing valuable insights to the industry.”
