In order to support its global development into other markets, EyeROV, a marine robotics deeptech business, raised Rs 10 crore in a pre-Series A round headed by Unicorn India Ventures.
EyeROV, a 2016 startup founded by IIT alumni Johns T. Mathai and Kannappa Palaniappan P., leverages deep tech for AI and marine robots.
“With this funding, EyeROV will be able to scale up its sales, R&D, and operations much faster. Unicorn India has supported similar hardware/robotics companies in the past, and we believe this partnership will be highly beneficial,” said Johns T. Mathai, CEO, EyeROV.
