Preeti Gupta Mohanty has been named Group CFO by Schneider Electric India, with effect from February 1. Vice President – Greater India Finance, will technically be her designation.
With more than 20 years of expertise in finance, Preeti has worked in the FMCG, consultancy, and industrial sectors.
She held the position of Region Vice President – Finance at Ingersoll Rand, a global provider of cutting-edge and vital air, fluid, energy, and medical solutions, before assuming her current position.
With a $1.8 billion company, Preeti oversaw the finance department for the EMEIA area. She also oversaw over thirty production facilities and a shared service center for finance located in Bangalore. She was instrumental in guiding the company’s financial strategy.
Preeti has also worked at GlaxoSmithKline Consumer for a period of twelve years, showcasing her broad knowledge of strategic leadership and finance. Her leadership of the Novartis consumer business integration into GSK as the Internal Audit Head is particularly noteworthy and demonstrates her operational and strategic ability to promote organizational efficiency and growth.
After gaining foundational experience at Deloitte, she moved on to become the Region Finance Manager at Coca-Cola India in her financial career.
Her varied career demonstrates her aptitude for navigating intricate financial situations and boosting company success in fast-paced work settings.
Preeti has received numerous honors. She was named one of India’s Top 100 CFOs in 2023, and in 2022, Dalal Street Journal presented her with the Best Woman CFO Award. In 2020, she was also named one of the best CFOs in the M&A sector.
