A startup accelerator program launched by Telangana AI Mission, Nasscom, and Yotta

An end-to-end provider of digital transformation services, Yotta Data Services, has introduced Shambho, an accelerator program for cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) companies that offers top-notch cloud and AI infrastructure, technical support, mentorship, and other benefits. With backing from Telangana AI Mission and Nasscom AI, Shambho was established with the goal of promoting creativity in the startup industry and the advancement of cutting-edge solutions in high-performance computing, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data science.

The startups recognized by Nasscom’s GenAI Foundry will be able to utilize credits of up to USD 200,000 for India’s fastest AI-HPC supercomputer, Shakti Cloud, under this program.

Along with monthly mentoring sessions catered to the unique requirements of startups, Yotta will give them access to technical help and training at all phases of their growth. Furthermore, by taking part in networking events and joining the Yotta and Nasscom startup communities for knowledge sharing and cooperation, these startups will have access to additional commercial prospects as a part of the Yotta ecosystem.

Commenting on this partnership, Sunil Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Yotta Data Services, said, “India’s tech-startup ecosystem is a pivotal force propelling the nation towards its ambitious $5 trillion economy goal. Anchored by an abundant talent pool and formidable entrepreneurial spirit, our strength is evident. However, the success of GenAI hinges on scalable access to high-performance computing. Our objective is to democratize supercomputing and hyperscale cloud access for Indian enterprises and startups, a gap we aim to fill with our cloud platforms. This collaboration with Nasscom reaffirms our dedication to catalyzing India’s AI journey towards self-reliance in innovation.”

This partnership demonstrates Yotta’s dedication to furthering Nasscom’s goal of encouraging creativity in deeptech firms and fits in perfectly with India’s growing reputation as a center for research and development as well as the country’s current AI adoption momentum.

Sangeeta Gupta, Sr. Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, Nasscom, said, “As we witness the evolution of generative AI, it also opens numerous opportunities for enterprises and startups. Winning in the AI race requires businesses to place the right strategic bets in terms of acquiring the necessary computing infrastructure and identifying the most optimal modes of engagement with stakeholders. Accelerator Programs such as Shambho will not only help augment India’s AI innovation but will also certainly encourage AI startups to develop cutting-edge solutions in cloud, AI, data science, and high-performance computing.”

Over 70% of Indian tech firms are using cutting-edge technologies like AI, blockchain, IoT, and robotics to alter industrial processes and address significant social and economic concerns. The country’s digital startup scene is growing quickly.

Shakti Cloud, which is powered by NVIDIA’s H100 Tensor Core GPUs and is specifically made for AI and HPC workloads, provides amazing GPU-as-a-service capabilities along with free credits to enable business owners to develop AI solutions more quickly and efficiently.
