Rishit Jhunjhunwala is named CEO of Truecaller by insiders

Rishit Jhunjhunwala, the current chief of products at Swedish software startup Truecaller, was named the business’s new chief executive on Wednesday.

In addition to being the managing director of Truecaller’s India division, Jhunjhunwala has been with the company since 2015. On January 9, he will assume his new position following the resignation of incumbent Alan Mamedi.

In a letter, co-founders Alan Mamedi and Nami Zarringhalam announced their decision to leave Truecaller’s operational responsibilities as of June 30, 2025.

As board members and advisors, Mamedi and Zarringhalam will concentrate on Truecallers’ long-term strategy, enabling the leadership group to fully assume responsibility and propel the business’s ongoing expansion, the letter stated.

The company also reported that its quarterly net sales increased by 15% to $42.21 million, or 457 million Swedish crowns, compared to the same period last year.
