Roopa Abraham Kochhar appointed by Aptia as Chief People Officer

Kochhar, who has about 20 years of expertise in human resources, would be in charge of expanding Aptia’s People team and its capabilities in the UK, US, India, and Portugal.

Roopa Abraham Kochhar has been appointed as Aptia’s Chief People Officer, the pensions, health, and benefits administrator announced on Tuesday.

According to a release, Kochhar, who has about 20 years of expertise in human resources, would be in charge of expanding Aptia’s People team and its capabilities in the UK, US, India, and Portugal.

Kochhar was affiliated with Munich’s Allianz Group before joining Aptia.

Kochhar has held a number of senior HR positions at Allianz Group in Munich before joining Aptia. She was Director of HR at Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) India in the past. Kochhar’s career began in India with Allianz’s greenfield joint venture.
