The expenditure will be used by the Ahmedabad-based start-up to improve the sales, marketing and engineering of the business to improve its product offering.
Ahmedabad-based SaaS company Clientjoy (earlier known as Gridle) reported on Monday that it raised $800,000 in the pre-Series A financing round of GVFL (Gujarat Venture Finance Limited), an early-stage venture capital firm.
Decided to launch in 2019 by Abhishek Doshi, Yash Shah, Anupama Panchal and Shashwat Bhatt, Clientjoy provides client lifecycle management platform for modern agencies, service companies and freelancers to handle leads, proposals, customers, invoices and revenues under one roof.
In its initial journey, the startup was financed and funded by other angel investors and CIIE — a startup incubator set up by IIM-Ahmedabad.
“Today, agencies and freelancers have to devote substantial time and resources exclusively to handling customers, as customer management takes place through various tools and channels. They have no idea either about bottlenecks or about development enablers since much of the data is not collected and also spread through different platforms. Clientjoy tackles and fixes this problem, “said Yash Shah, co-founder and CEO of Clientjoy.
“The investment will be used to improve the sales, marketing and engineering of the company to expand its product offering,” Yash said.
Clientjoy currently represents more than 1,900 digital marketers, IT services and vertical design companies throughout the United States, India, Europe, Australia and South-East Asia.
“Businesses understand the value and functionality of digital enterprise collaboration in the ongoing crisis of COVID-19. We expect Client Management tools and networks like Clientjoy to play an even greater role in pre-crisis companies and help enterprises become more open to digital business collaboration, “said Mihir Joshi, President of GVFL.
