Suzlon Group, based in Pune, is one of the world’s top suppliers of renewable energy solutions.

Sairam Prasad has been named CEO of Suzlon Global Services Limited (SGSL), the wholly-owned subsidiary of Suzlon Energy Ltd., the company said on Tuesday. As stated in a regulatory filing by the business, his appointment is effective as of January 16.

“Sairam Prasad has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of SGSL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, and has been designated as one of the SMPs (senior managerial personnel) of the company,” it said.

The business also announced that Ishwar Chand Mangal, one of the SMPs and the current CEO of SGSL, will now serve as the CEO of New Business and report to the group CEO.

Additionally, he was named to the position of non-executive director of SGSL, effective February 1, 2024.

Suzlon Group, based in Pune, is one of the world’s top suppliers of renewable energy solutions, having deployed more than 20 GW of wind energy capacity in 17 different countries.
