Oxford Semantic Technologies is a British company that develops technology for advanced applications of artificial intelligence (AI).

A British business called Oxford Semantic Technologies focuses on developing technologies for more sophisticated applications of artificial intelligence (AI). On Thursday, Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) announced that it had reached an agreement to buy the business.

Samsung retained the entire deal amount. Knowledge graph technology, which Oxford Semantic Technologies specializes in, can be used to more successfully customize AI applications such as on-device AI on Samsung phones, according to a statement from Samsung. Knowledge graph technology stores data as a linked web of related concepts, mimicking the way humans reason.
