Before coming to UpGrad, Mahale was connected to Zepto. He has held positions with TCS, HDFC Life Insurance, and Dow Chemicals in the past.

Shailesh Mahale was appointed Corporate HR Head by upGrad, an integrated learning, skilling, and workforce development organization, the company announced on Friday.

Kumar Anshu has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources for the Working Professional, Study Abroad, and Offline segments, the company has officially stated. Vandana Kaushik Goel has been promoted to the Enterprise arm’s Head of Human Resources position.

Anshu and Goel will manage operations from Delhi NCR, and Mahale will be based out of upGrad’s head office in Mumbai, according to a statement.

In his new position, Mahale will use his wealth of experience to drive organizational growth as he leads corporate HR services, which include payroll and compliance, employee experience, operations and digitization, and HR audits.

According to the announcement, these three significant India appointments will improve operational effectiveness and broaden employee participation throughout the organization.

Mahale has experience with HR technology and operations, having implemented PeopleSoft, SAP Success Factors, and Darwinbox successfully in the past.

Before coming to UpGrad, Mahale was connected to Zepto. He has held positions with TCS, HDFC Life Insurance, and Dow Chemicals in the past.

With 15 years of varied experience, Anshu has worked at Siemens, EY LLP, OLX, Wipro, and in consulting, business HR, HR strategy, and software engineering.

Anshu demonstrated outstanding consulting skills in his previous work at EY, where he oversaw projects and advised GOI on the establishment of an e-learning organization.

Goel has over 17 years of experience in the HR field in a variety of industries, including professional services, software, and education. She will still be in charge of HR business partnerships for upGrad’s whole Enterprise division.
