Shiva Chinnasamy appointed by ZEE as Chief Technology & Product Officer

Shiva Chinnasamy has been appointed as the Chief Technology & Product Officer by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE), effective September 2, 2024. In this new position, Shiva will report to Amit Goenka, President of Digital Business, International Linear Business, Enterprise Technology, and Broadcast Operations & Engineering, and be stationed at the company’s Technology & Innovation Centre (TIC) in Bengaluru.

Shiva will be in charge of the TIC’s efforts in the areas of data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) and ML to improve user experience across platforms and achieve the company’s expansion goals in its main business divisions.

Shiva has more than 20 years of experience in data science, analytics, and technology. He works closely with stakeholders and business partners to deliver comprehensive, long-term solutions. Ad tech, eCommerce, omnichannel retail, B2C FinTech, B2B SaaS, platform engineering, and mobile engineering are among the areas he specializes in. In key capacities, he has contributed significantly to the development of several notable products by bringing fresh concepts and meticulous execution to bear. He was formerly employed at Rippling as the India Site Lead, where he was in charge of creating a high-performing, data-driven collaborative culture. Throughout his professional life, Shiva has also had affiliations with numerous international corporations, such as Google, Tesco, Target, Amazon, and Verizon Labs.
