The conglomerate Adani Group has hired Shivkumar Pandey as Group CISO.
With more than 23 years of leadership experience in a variety of industries, Pandey is currently in charge of the Adani Group’s cybersecurity function. In this capacity, he oversees strategic cybersecurity initiatives and makes sure that IT and OT systems are secure.
Pandey held the position of Group CISO for BSE Ltd. prior to joining Adani. In this capacity, he consistently ensured the availability and protection of the company’s information systems and was instrumental in the establishment of the first next-generation information and cyber security operation center in the industry. He has worked for the National Payment Corporation of India, Reliance JIO, SUD Life, Future Generali India, Kotak Mahindra, and Tata AIG. He has experience in cyber security and IT service delivery in fast-paced industries like BFSI, ITES, and telecommunication.

Pandey is now at the helm of the group’s cybersecurity function. “My role at Adani is more exciting and gives me the opportunity to apply my cyber security knowledge and experience to protecting the vast industrial landscape of IT and OT systems, including groups of national critical infrastructure,” said Pandey.
