MetLife Inc., with effect from August 1, has announced the appointment of Shurawl Sibblies as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
A statement said that Sibblies will answer Michel Khalaf, President and Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Inc.
Sibblies joined MetLife from American Express, where she served as a colleague strategic partner and executive vice president, overseeing organizational, people, and leadership development strategies for many divisions and roles. She held positions at Hewlett-Packard, Citigroup, and TIAA before joining American Express.

Sibblies graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Albany and an MBA in Finance from the University of Rochester. She graduated from Northwestern University with an MS in predictive analytics.
