Arya is now in charge of Cummins India’s Power System Business.
Leading power solutions technology company Cummins India has announced that Shveta Arya will become Managing Director on September 1st, subject to shareholder approval.
According to a statement, Arya will take over for Ashwath Ram, who will work for the company until August 31.
Arya is now in charge of Cummins India’s Power System Business, a role she will keep after being named Managing Director. In 2016, she started working at Cummins India.
Arya had previously worked at Infosys, Kearney, and Thomas Cook.
Arya has worked as a management consultant for more than 20 years in the automotive, travel, financial services, and telecom industries.

Arya graduated with a bachelor’s degree in information technology engineering from Delhi University and a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA).
