Kandi, at present, handles employee relations and skill development for Tata Motors in addition to overseeing human resources for the company’s electric and passenger car divisions.
Sitaram Kandi was named Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Tata Motors on Friday, with effect from April 1.
Kandi will also join the Tata Motors Executive Committee in his capacity as CHRO, a statement said.
Kandi, at present, handles employee relations and skill development for Tata Motors in addition to overseeing human resources for the company’s electric and passenger car divisions.
After serving as Tata Motors’ CHRO since 2018, Ravindra Kumar G P will hand over the reins to Kandi, who will be moving on to a new role within the Tata Group.
With effect from April 1, Air India, a Tata Group subsidiary, has named Ravindra Kumar G.P. as CHRO.
Kandi, a Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies alumna with thirty years of experience, is a career HR professional. Before joining Tata Motors in 2019, he worked on various aspects of HR and industrial relations with global companies, including Bosch, Monsanto, and General Electric, both in India and abroad.
