South Korean telecommunications giant SK Telecom has invested $100 million in the AI company Anthropic. The latter had previously received investments from Alameda Research. The investment received from SK Telecom is an additional investment.
The funding aims to develop large language models (LLM) for multi-language support on the telecom’s artificial intelligence platform. The AI company announced in May that it had completed a $450 million Series C funding round led by Spark Capital.
