Venkatesh will play a crucial role with a mission to enhance Thermo Fisher Scientific’s operations and growth in India while boosting customer value creation.

Srinath Venkatesh has been appointed as Managing Director for India and South Asia, according to a Tuesday announcement from Thermo Fisher Scientific.

According to a release, Venkatesh will play a crucial role with a mission to enhance Thermo Fisher Scientific’s operations and growth in India while boosting customer value creation.

Venkatesh held the position of President of Danaher for its Indian operations before joining Thermo Fisher. He was employed at GE Capital, GE Lighting, and GE Bangladesh in the past.

Tony Acciarito, President – Asia Pacific and Japan, Thermo Fisher Scientific, said, “Srinath’s extensive experience of over 30 years in driving commercial excellence across industrial and capital businesses will be instrumental in leveraging our scale in high-growth and emerging markets and elevating our impact in India’s evolving landscape.”

In the last 27 years, the company has strengthened its presence with 8 manufacturing facilities, 5 application labs, 2 R&D centres, and 8 distribution centres, supported by an extensive network of 400 channel partners, and approximately 4,700 employees (including PPD) located in 42 cities and offices across 17 locations, as per the statement.
