Tanuj Kapilashrami has been named Chief Strategy and Talent Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, with effect from April 1.
At the moment, Kapilashrami holds the position of Global Chief Human Resources Officer at the company.
Along with human resources, Kapilashrami’s additional responsibilities include overseeing the bank’s strategy, corporate affairs, brand and marketing, supply chain management, and property departments.
According to a release, she will oversee the bank’s whole approach to shaping, implementing, and communicating it in this capacity.
It was stated in a release that she will oversee the bank’s entire process of developing, carrying out, and communicating its strategy.
In November 2018, Kapilashrami was named CHRO to Standard Chartered’s Global Management Team. She began her career with the bank in March 2017 and was promoted to Group Head of Talent, Learning, and Culture. In May 2018, she was given more responsibilities as the Global Head of HR for Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking. Previously, she worked at HSBC.
