Tirthankar Dutta has been named vice president and chief information security officer (CISO) by Star & Disney India. He was the head of information security and senior vice president of Infoedge prior to this.
Dutta’s new position at Star & Disney India will entail advising and guiding the CTO/CFO and other important members of the business leadership team. Along the way, he will cultivate goodwill and relationships with senior administration, business executives, and the developer community by precisely outlining information security goals.
In addition, Dutta will oversee the planning processes for information security in order to create a complete and all-encompassing information security and compliance program that will benefit the company’s development, research, and administrative information systems and technology.
With over 14 years of experience, Dutta is a skilled information technology (IT) specialist with a focus on enterprise design, security, and management.
