Subha Tatavarti, CTO of Wipro, resigns

Wipro, a leader in the world of technology services and consulting, has announced that CTO Subha Tatavarti will be leaving her position. Her departure would take effect on August 16.

Subha left the company in order to pursue opportunities outside of Wipro.

“Subha Tatavarti, Chief Technology Officer, resigned from the services of the company to pursue opportunities outside Wipro,” the company said in the filing.

With Subha’s resignation, Wipro has lost four of its senior executives since April 2024. Thierry Delaporte stepped down as managing director and chief executive officer on April 6. Wipro veteran Srini Pallia succeeded him.

Amit Choudhary, the COO of Wipro, resigned in May in order to pursue possibilities outside the company. He was replaced by Sanjeev Jain.

Following the resignation of Anis Chenchah, the company’s president of Asia Pacific, India, the Middle East, and Africa (APMEA), Wipro announced the other leadership appointment on May 10. In order to drive a vigorous expansion drive in the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa markets, Vinay Firake was named the new APMEA Chief.
