Experienced IT executive Suvajit Gupta has been named the new Chief IT Officer (CTO) of Cotiviti, a supplier of data-driven healthcare solutions.
Gupta joins Cotiviti with more than 30 years of experience in technology leadership, and he will be instrumental in developing the organization’s technology strategy and promoting innovation throughout its range of products for retailers and healthcare payers.
Gupta Bio/Background
Gupta comes to Cotiviti from Appian Corporation, where he spent more than ten years as executive vice president of engineering. Gupta oversaw a sizable engineering team while he was employed at Appian, where he also led important developments in the low-code platform that revolutionized the user experience for creating and implementing web and mobile applications. Gupta’s experience in corporate software development was further evidenced by his leadership positions at Eloqua prior to Appian. He will oversee Cotiviti’s R&D and software development teams and answer directly to Dr. Emad Rizk, CEO.
“Cotiviti understands that technology’s true value does not lie in the technology itself, but rather in how it’s used in partnership with human expertise and advanced analytics to deliver improved performance for customers without sacrificing quality,” said Gupta. “I’m eager to work with Cotiviti’s talented employees to advance Cotiviti’s vision to improve the quality and sustainability of our healthcare system.”
