Review meeting of the Tamil Internet Education Institute – Tamil Internet Academy was held on 9 December 2021 with the participation of Hon’ble Minister of Information Technology, Mr. Mano Thangaraj. It was held under the leadership of Mano Thangaraj. The meeting was attended by officials of the Tamil Internet Academy. During the review meeting of Tamil Internet Academy, the Hon’ble Minister of Information Technology reviewed the work being done in the TNA and gave the following advice.

  • Instructed to prepare syllabi covering Tamil tradition, culture, natural medicine, environmental awareness, and key features of political system, basic biological philosophies, and ethical concepts.
  • Short term training course on ‘Writing without error in Tamil’ was conducted with selected qualified teachers and teachers in all districts were instructed to take steps to provide training in writing Tamil without error.
  • Advised to select relevant experts to explore the task of developing Tamil computer software for reading manuscripts provided by TEGA to Annamalai University.
  • It was suggested that training classes should be conducted to identify the appropriate professionals to train the old manuscript readers.
  • Action should be taken to expedite the implementation of the project by identifying the relevant professionals for the preparation of the instrument used to write the objective type examination for the visually impaired.
  • Advised to write Mathematical Tamil lessons with industry experts. It was also advised to find out how the students are welcoming to the course.
  • Efforts should be made to write lessons related to mold with the best teachers with appropriate training.
  • Advised to prepare the purpose, objectives and activities of each project work in the TNA and to carry out the work accordingly.
