Tech startups came up with solutions to solve a few pressing issues in Bengaluru

The city’s tech startups participated in the “Namma Bengaluru Challenge,” which was organized by UnboxingBLR and WTFund, and developed solutions to address a number of urgent problems, including those related to healthcare, waste, and mobility.

Five organizations each received a grant of Rs 10 lakh, and eight individuals were chosen as finalists. While “Let’s Be The Change” adopts a cooperative strategy to build a cleaner and more sustainable society by teaching on waste segregation, the Anahat Foundation, an NGO, concentrates on improving access to basic and preventive healthcare for the urban poor.

“Nagaram Metered Auto” offers commuters a handy app to find cars that are running on meters, addressing the issues with transparent transportation. By giving them the chance to drive EVs, the “Mahila Shakti Electric Auto Program by Namma Yatri” empowers women. To combat pollution that affects waterbodies, Clean Water (Sustainable Water Technologies Pvt. Ltd.)’s “Waterbody Rejuvenation Project” uses natural, sustainable alternatives.
