Toyota Alabama (7203.T), which opens a new tab, announced on Wednesday that it will be investing $282 million to establish new production lines in Huntsville, Alabama.
This project is expected to create 350 new jobs. According to the carmaker, this extends the total investment made in Toyota Alabama to over $1.7 billion.
