Henrik Wallström has been named Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Trustly, an open banking payments company, for its European operations.
He joins from communications platform Sinch, where he was CTO for the Applications business unit. He led international teams, concentrated on merging acquired businesses, and developed a common technology platform and operating style. He is based in Stockholm.
He created the company’s consumer growth area at Swedish FinTech Klarna before joining Sinch. In addition to his entrepreneurial experience, Wallström founded Finsit, a business intelligence platform for accounting data that was utilised by more than 30,000 businesses before Wolters Kluwer acquired it in 2018.
