Aaron Allen, a leader in information technology, has been named chief information officer by U.S. Army Reserve Command.
In a Sunday LinkedIn post, Allen made the announcement of his appointment. His background includes work in business process optimization, technical support, network administration, data analysis, IT infrastructure management, and IT planning.
The newly appointed CIO was most recently employed by the Army Reserve Careers Group as a battalion commander.
During his military career, he held positions as deputy CIO for the 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, Brigade Operations S-3 officer in charge inside the 505th Signal Brigade, and acting commander for the Army Pacific Command Support Unit-FWD Japan within the U.S. Army Pacific.
