Washington, District of Columbia, United States, January 2025: Urvashi Vyas has taken on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Pact, a leading international nonprofit. In her new role, Urvashi will oversee the organization’s financial strategies and operations, leveraging her extensive experience in nonprofit financial management, strategic planning, and cost analysis. Her leadership will be instrumental in advancing Pact’s mission to build thriving, resilient communities globally.

Prior to joining Pact, Urvashi held several key roles at Creative Associates International over nearly seven years, including Vice President – Financial Analysis, where she oversaw financial forecasting and internal reporting for nonprofit operations. She also served as Senior Director of Financial Analysis, focusing on fund accounting, investment performance, and annual budgeting. 

Earlier, Urvashi was with Winrock International, where she spent four years as Director of Cost & Pricing and Associate Director of Cost & Pricing, specializing in resource planning, financial compliance, and strategy for development programs. Her contributions were critical to financial planning and operational efficiency in nonprofit contexts. 

Urvashi also worked with Population Services International as Senior Cost & Pricing Officer and served as Financial Analyst at the Education Development Center, gaining deep expertise in nonprofit financial frameworks, fund accounting, and financial reporting.
