Valeo stated that it would be using more Google Cloud and introducing new tab AI technologies, highlighting the growing importance of technology in the automobile industry.

Valeo (VLOF.PA) announced on Thursday that it would be adopting more Google Cloud (GOOGL.O) and opening new tab AI tools, emphasizing the growing importance of technology in the automotive industry.

Valeo stated that one area in which it will apply artificial intelligence is in the deployment of Google Cloud’s AI products to the toolbox used by its software development teams, as well as in vehicle design and customer service.

“Together, we will play an essential role in how we make generative AI as relevant, secure, and productive as possible to support Valeo’s growth,” stated Valeo Chief Technology Officer Geoffrey Bouquot.

In February, Valeo reduced its net sales projection for 2025, citing lower-than-expected growth in the automotive market.
