With effect from March 2024, Pankaj Sureka has been named chief human resources officer (CHRO)-VL Jharsuguda at Vedanta Aluminium Business.
He confirmed his appointment on LinkedIn stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Vedanta Limited – Aluminium Business Jharsuguda.”
Sureka has more than 15 years of experience and is a specialist in learning and development, employee engagement, benefits and pay, and HR business partnerships.
Before that, he spent more than ten years in a variety of senior positions at Reliance Industries, the most recent of which was vice president of incentives (human resources). In addition, he has held positions at National Stock Exchange of India, Essar, Cummins, Colgate Palmolive, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and Wipro Technologies.
